Affordability Scale:
The scale represents how many years of your entire household income it would take to buy a house in that area (assuming you saved every single dollar without spending on food, rent, or living expenses).
- Most affordable areas: 2-4 years of total income
- Moderately affordable: 4-6 years of total income
- Expensive areas: 6-10 years of total income
- Very expensive areas: 10+ years of total income
